(PLVN) - The Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just issued a notice explaining the technical incident that occurred during the cannon fire display on the evening of May 3, causing many shots to fall into the area where locals and tourists were watching.

Accordingly, on the evening of May 3, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized a fireworks display at the Hue Flag Tower area to serve the locals and tourists. Hundreds of locals and tourists gathered at the Phu Van Lau area below the Hue Flag Tower to wait for the fireworks display.

However, when the guns were fired, many fireworks malfunctioned and fell straight into the area where hundreds of locals and tourists were standing. The bright red fireworks fell, scaring many tourists. The incident was filmed by locals and posted on social media.

After the incident, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center admitted mistakes in organizing the cannon firing and issued a notice apologizing to residents and tourists.

The cannon fire display on the Flag Tower relic will take place weekly on Saturday evenings and major holidays to create a lively highlight for the Hue heritage space at night.
