Madam Pang was praised by the creditors of the Football Association of Thailand, believing that Thailand can participate in the World Cup.

(NLDO) - Siam Sport praised Madam Pang for voluntarily taking on the debt of the Football Association of Thailand even though she was not responsible.

Mr. Narinpong Jinapak, President of the Thai Bar Association and representative of Siam Sport Company, the unit that requested the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) to compensate for the copyright debt, praised FAT President Nuannaphan Lamsam (Madam Pang) for voluntarily shouldering the debt even though she was not the one who created it.

"Madam Pang is a very noble-minded federation president. She chose to take responsibility for things she did not cause, showing a noble will to prevent the football federation from collapsing before her eyes" - Mr. Narinpong, in his role as Siam Sport's representative lawyer, publicly expressed his admiration for Ms. Pang.

Mr. Narinpong also shared that if Ms. Pang had been given the right to manage the national team earlier, instead of Mr. Worawi Makudi, Thai football would have probably participated in the World Cup a long time ago.

Siam Sport representative praises Madam Pang

Madam Pang had previously paid 25 million baht from her own money to pay off the first court judgment debt to Siam Sport, and launched four major fundraising campaigns to keep the federation afloat. This move was widely admired by both fans and experts.

Shortly after, Ms. Pang was also hospitalized due to stress. FAT is currently facing pressure from a huge debt of 360 million baht (more than 290 billion VND) to pay compensation and interest from the lawsuit to unilaterally terminate the 2016 television copyright contract with Siam Sport Company.

It is expected that on May 11, FAT and Siam Sport will negotiate a payment plan for the remaining debt.
