Interactive screens with AI serve digital transformation in education

Within the framework of the Computex 2024 event taking place in Taiwan (from June 4 to 7), electronics company ViewSonic has just introduced two interactive display models named IFP53 and IFP105S with the highlight of built-in AI. The company representative said that this is a solution to promote the digital transformation ecosystemof education in many countries, including Vietnam.

The IFP53 version is the smaller model in the above duo, equipped with a standard screen with a 16:9 ratio. Meanwhile, the IFP105S model has a 21:9 screen ratio, providing more display space. Both are interactive screens, integrated with myViewBoard software that allows users to write or draw directly on the multi-touch screen, showing it right on the displayed content. With the large display size of the screen, users can also interact with many different contents or applications, dividing the management method into multi-tasking windows similar to those on computers.

Further explaining the effects of AI, a ViewSonic representative said that the artificial intelligence integrated into the device has the ability to recognize images so that when users write, draw or sketch content on the screen, AI will recognize the information and from there display suggestions about the corresponding object or image.

As a device serving the educational environment with many users at the same time, the IFP53 and IFP105S models are both equipped with a screen lock feature using an NFC chip card to increase security, limiting students or others from using the screen without permission from teachers/administrators. The NFC chip is located on the edge of the bottom edge of the screen, along with a number of USB-C, HDMI or USB-A peripheral connection ports.

The IFP105S model has a large size.
