Twin pregnancy by IVF

Recently, Minh Hang announced a special project called Wonderful Beginning. It is not a new MV or movie but a series of clips in which she shares about the memorable years of her life.

With the first clip, Minh Hang revealed her twin pregnancy through in vitro fertilization.

She admitted that she used to have two fears: getting married and having children because she thought it would affect her career:

“ Before, I thought that if I wanted to achieve something, I had to sacrifice. And I decided to focus on my work. It doesn't matter if I have a husband or not, I just need to find someone worthy to be my boyfriend.

In general, I feel that getting married is not that important, but I need to keep my career. Because for a normal woman, when she gets married and has children, her work will be affected by 30-40%. But for an artist like me, if she gets married and has children, it will affect a lot.

I am not afraid of any challenges or difficulties, but getting married and having children is a psychological obstacle that I have not been able to overcome .

However, Minh Hang herself has gradually changed. From being afraid of cooking and taking care of the house, after the COVID-19 pandemic, the female singer spends more time with her family and relatives.

Cooking and taking care of her family has made Minh Hang start to pay more attention to her private life. These changes have helped her overcome her fear and worry that getting married will affect her career:

“ Along with the change in perception, I also met the man of my life. We fell in love slowly and went through many stages before I realized that this was the right person to be my husband and the father of my children .”

It is also the confidence in her man that helps Minh Hang overcome her fear of becoming a mother: “ For me, getting married is not too complicated, but becoming a mother is extremely complicated. Because for me, being a mother is something very great.

The beauty changed her mindset after the COVID-19 pandemic.

I used to see my friends around me stressed out because of taking care of their children, even losing their careers, and I was very scared. But when I met the right person, that fear would be eased because there would be someone to accompany me .”

And the pregnancy in 2023 has been carefully prepared and planned by the female singer:

“ People often say “correct mistakes, give birth” but for me that is not true. Because for me, everything needs to be arranged in an orderly manner. I think that there are things that I try my best to do but still can’t do well, let alone let it come naturally.

I am also old and giving birth requires a lot of health. That is why in 2022 I will work “crazily” so that in 2023 I can spend time enjoying and waiting for my little creature .”

Minh Hang emotionally recalls the moment she became a mother.

After carefully studying the documents and feeling comfortable mentally, Minh Hang and her husband decided to use in vitro fertilization to have their first child:

“ I used to think that IVF (in vitro fertilization) was a very proactive method so that I could know how everything would happen in order. But when I actually started the journey, I realized that things were not as I thought .”

The special feeling of transferring the embryo into her body made Minh Hang so emotional that she couldn't hold back her tears:

“ I thought science would help people be alert and proactive in everything. But I will never forget the feeling of lying on the bed to transfer the embryo into my body. At that moment, I felt a living being forming and growing inside my body.

When the doctor gave me the film and showed me that these two tiny dots were the two babies in my belly, I held the paper and cried like a baby. It was an extremely meaningful and sacred moment for me .

Her husband accompanies Minh Hang anytime, anywhere.

The successful embryo transfer was also the time when Minh Hang felt scared and had to be careful like many other pregnant women:

“ After that sacred moment, I faced many fears: How should I take care of myself? I was afraid of bathing, sitting or standing. It was an extremely precious memory that only those who experienced it can understand. ”

During this emotional journey, Minh Hang did not forget to emphasize her husband's role as a companion and encourager.
