According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently (March 24), a cold air mass is moving south.

It is forecasted that around the morning of March 25, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast region of the North, then affect other places in the Northeast and some places in the Northwest. Northeast winds inland will gradually strengthen to level 2-3; coastal areas level 3-4.

From March 25, the weather in the Northeast will turn cool; from the night of March 25, the Northeast will be cold, and some mountainous areas will be cold. During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature in the Northeast will be generally 18-21 degrees Celsius, and some mountainous areas will be below 17 degrees Celsius.

Regarding the weather at sea, from early morning on March 25, in the northern area of ​​Bac Bo Gulf, the wind changed direction to Northeast, strong level 4-5, gusting to level 6, with waves 1.5-2.5m high.

Warning, from the evening of March 24 to March 25, in the Northern region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in mountainous areas, there will be moderate to heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm/24 hours, in some places over 50mm/24 hours.

From the night of March 25-28, the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate rain, heavy rain with rainfall of 10-20mm/24h, some places over 40mm/24h (thunderstorms concentrated in the afternoon and evening). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

In addition, thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.
