In addition, the high tide in the eastern sea of ​​the South has also been given special attention by the meteorological agency. Accordingly, the current tide level in this area is at a high level. The highest water level observed at Vung Tau station was 408cm at 4:45 a.m. on April 2.

In the next 24 hours, the tide will tend to decrease, the high water level will fluctuate between 395-400cm. The high water time is forecasted between 0:00-5:00 and 13:00-19:00. The affected areas are low-lying coastal areas, riverside areas from Vung Tau to Dong Ca Mau provinces.

In the next 24-48 hours, the water level in the Southeast coastal area will gradually decrease. The highest water level at Vung Tau station is forecasted to be 385 - 390cm.

People and local authorities need to proactively respond to high tides and limit going through flooded areas when the tide is high.
