The Buddha's relics, considered the national treasure of India, will be welcomed from Quan Su Pagoda ( Hanoi ) at 5:30 a.m. on May 17 and enshrined at Tam The Temple, Tam Chuc Pagoda, where people and Buddhists can worship from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day during the event.
In particular, the Organizing Committee respectfully announces that all boat and electric car tickets will be free for people and Buddhists attending, and free vegetarian meals will be arranged at many locations within the temple grounds. Mr. Truong Quoc Khanh, in charge of communications for Tam Chuc Tourist Area, said that it is expected to welcome about 30,000 to 50,000 visitors and that safety and organization work has been carefully prepared with a system to control visitor traffic, remote flow, security cameras, rescue and medical services operating 24/7.

The organizers also emphasized that Tam Chuc Pagoda will not charge any fees for people coming to worship Buddha's relics during this time and will not accept any form of offerings, wreaths or offerings at the Buddha's relic enshrinement area; comply with instructions on queuing, maintaining order, not filming or taking photos inside, not jostling, and children under 2 years old and people wearing inappropriate clothing will not be allowed to enter the enshrinement area, while the elderly, the infirm or the disabled will be given priority.
In addition to the worship of Buddha's relics, people can also participate in a series of events such as the main Buddha's birthday ceremony on May 18 with the theme "Solidarity and tolerance for human dignity: Buddhist wisdom for world peace and sustainable development"; the flower lantern night to pray for national peace and people's well-being and gratitude, and memorial on the evening of May 20; the pilgrimage on the path of spiritual practice, and the free vegetarian food space from May 17 to 20.
The farewell ceremony for the Buddha's relics will be held at Tam Chuc Pagoda on the afternoon of May 21, before the relics are taken to Noi Bai International Airport to return to India.
