Admissions timeline to remember
After registering their wishes, candidates must pay the fee online to complete the application process.
It is expected that on August 20, schools will announce the first round of admission scores.
Successful candidates are required to confirm their admission online. After 5pm on August 30, candidates who do not confirm their admission will be removed from the admission list.

No need to choose admission method
The university admissions in 2025 have many new points compared to last year. Candidates do not need to choose an admission method code, admission combination code... they just need to clearly identify the program, major, group of majors and training institution they want to study to decide to register.
The Ministry of Education and Training's general admission support system will use the method with the highest results of the candidates for admission consideration.
Universities using multiple admission methods must determine the equivalent conversion rules for the entrance threshold and admission scores of the admission methods, admission methods, and admission combinations. according to general instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In order for candidates to have full information, the Ministry of Education and Training requires universities to publicly announce the equivalence conversion rules at the latest at the same time as announcing the input quality assurance threshold.
Regarding the use of foreign language certificates in admission, the admission regulations stipulate that schools can convert foreign language certificates into foreign language subject scores to include in the admission subject group. However, the foreign language subject scores converted from foreign language certificates have a weighted score that cannot exceed 50%.
In addition, the regulations limit the total bonus points for candidates with foreign certificates to not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the scoring scale (for example, with a 30-point scale, the maximum is 3 points) to be more fair in the selection process.
According to the assessment of the Ministry of Education and Training, in previous years there was a situation of unfairness in admissions due to universities abusing admissions based on foreign language certificates, and the regulation of total bonus points (bonus points, bonus points, incentive points) for different achievements and certificates of candidates (too) large.
This leads to unfairness for candidates who do not have extra points (for objective reasons, not because of ability) in the same admission process.
