Recently, the ironwood pedestrian bridge, designed close to the surface of the Huong River, has become a check-in location and a place for Hue people and tourists to walk and relax every day.

The bridge was built and put into operation in 2018, with a bridge deck of more than 380m long, 4m wide, and about 1m above the water surface. This is a pilot project under the detailed planning project of the two banks of the Huong River sponsored by KOICA with a total cost of more than 64 billion VND. Of which, the bridge deck area of ​​over 2,440m² is paved with ironwood imported from South Africa with a cost of more than 5 billion VND.
