A university reduced its admission threshold score by 1-4 points compared to last year.

Based on the score distribution of the 2025 high school graduation exam subjects, a university has just announced the minimum admission score with a score reduction of 1-4 compared to 2024.

This morning (July 16), the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) has just announced the admission scores (admission floor scores) for regular university admission methods in 2025.

The minimum admission score to Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance this year is lower than in 2024.

According to the school representative, this year, the minimum score for admission based on the high school graduation exam results will decrease by 1-4 points compared to 2024, depending on the training major. Specifically, the minimum score for receiving applications for all 41 majors is 15 points.

With the method of considering grade 12 transcripts according to a combination of 3 subjects and considering the average score of the entire grade 12 transcript, the score for receiving application documents is 18.

In 2025, the school will use a total of 11 subject combinations for admission, with literature as the main subject. Of which, the language and international relations major will consider 6 combinations with 2 main subjects: literature and English, and the remaining subjects will be chosen by candidates from math, physics, history, geography, information technology, economic education and law.

The remaining majors use two main subjects: literature and math. The remaining subjects require candidates to choose one of the following: physics, English, history, geography, information technology, economic education and law.

Regarding the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test, the school's admission score is 600/1,200 points, and the V-SAT exam is 225/450 points.

Based on the above admission floor score, candidates wishing to apply for admission to the school by various methods will register and adjust their wishes online on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal before 5:00 p.m. on July 28.
