Motorola returns to Vietnam with 5G partner Viettel

(NLDO) - Viettel Telecommunication Corporation - Viettel Telecom announced its participation in the campaign to return the Motorola brand to the Vietnamese market.

On November 14, Viettel Telecom Corporation (Viettel Telecom) announced the cooperation between Viettel Telecom and Motorola - once one of the big names in the global mobile phone industry - with the aim of bringing diverse, good quality devices at prices suitable for many customer groups.

Accordingly, on the occasion of Motorola's return, the two brands are launching a special promotion program: Giving away 30GB of free 5G data to Viettel customers when using Motorola 5G phones.

The goal of this program is not only to bring superior speed, stability and connectivity experience to Motorola users but also to open a strategic cooperation between Viettel and Motorola - together bringing 5G technology closer to Vietnamese people.

Pioneering in launching the first 5G network in Vietnam, Viettel Telecom aims to cover 90% of the population with 5G by the end of 2025, creating a solid infrastructure foundation to attract 12 million subscribers.

Mr. Ngo Manh Hung, Director of Viettel Ho Chi Minh City, said that with the leading 5G network infrastructure, Viettel is committed to bringing Vietnamese consumers the latest technological experiences, contributing to opening a new era of the mobile industry in Vietnam.

Viettel gives away 30GB of data to customers who buy Motorola phones

The cooperation between Viettel Telecom and Motorola is part of a series of strategic cooperation activities to promote 5G growth in Vietnam. According to the roadmap, Viettel Telecom cooperates with a variety of mobile device suppliers to popularize and expand 5G to all customers using many different phone brands and phone lines from low-cost, mid-range to high-end.

Motorola is making a strong comeback in Vietnam, officially launching 5 smartphone models from November 12, including both low-cost and high-end lines, with a commitment to bringing a reliable American technology experience. The new products focus on strengths in battery, screen, camera and innovative design, with many models having 5G connectivity.

Once one of the pioneering brands in the global mobile industry, with legendary phones like the RAZR V3 or Droid, Motorola has gradually lost its position in the smartphone era.

Returning to Vietnam at a time when the smartphone market is entering a new growth cycle with a clearer strategy and a more diverse product portfolio than ever before, Motorola is expected to make a surprising "comeback".
