Spring on trains and flights carrying the two words "Union"

Last year, Nghe An was one of the two final destinations of the Zero-Dong Flight program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in collaboration with a number of businesses. The flight brought joy, jubilation and happiness to the homeland of 230 Nghe An workers in difficult circumstances who had not been able to celebrate Tet with their relatives for many years. According to the plan of the program "Trade Union Tet Journey - Spring 2024" recently issued by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in addition to Vinh airport (Nghe An province), the other destinations are Tho Xuan airport (Thanh Hoa province), Noi Bai airport ( Hanoi city), Cat Bi airport (Hai Phong city). There will be about 670 union members and workers completely free on 3 concentrated flights. In addition, there will be 30 - 32 train cars (one-way, soft seats and sleepers) gathered for free on the North - South trains and vice versa to take and pick up about 2,000 union members and workers working in the southern provinces and cities to their hometowns to celebrate Tet in the northern provinces and cities and return to their units and businesses to work after Tet. Compared to previous years, the number of train and flight trips has increased; the number of union members and workers enjoying free tickets is also greater, showing the efforts of the Trade Union organization in caring for and paying attention to workers. This year, each subject who meets the criteria for receiving free plane and train tickets will be accompanied by a relative. Special cases will be considered and decided by the Labor Federation at the provincial or municipal level or higher. Although the free train and flight trips during Tet do not meet all the requirements, they are of great value to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. That is to implement the advice of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the 13th Trade Union Congress: “The care of the Trade Union must be specific, thoughtful, practical, paying attention to every meal, sleep, joy, sadness of union members, workers and their families. From there, attract, gather and develop union members, especially the team of workers and laborers outside the State sector, ensuring close connection between union members and workers and the Trade Union organization”.
