Participating in the project are 295 households living in 11 villages: Na Khui, Na Day, Tung Lau, Ma Tuyen, Sang Chai, Nhan Giong, Pho Cu, Na Bu - Ham Rong, Thinh Cheng, Lung Phin A, Coc Ngu. The project supports farmers to grow 15 hectares of potatoes and 3 hectares of broccoli.

Ms. Sung Thi Khen (Lung Phin village) happily said: Her family is a low-income farming household, mainly growing rice, corn and raising a little poultry. This year, the Party and State supported 40 kg of potato seeds, creating conditions for the family to have initial capital for production. Currently, her family has completed the land preparation stage and is actively planting seeds.

For the project to be implemented effectively, the People's Committee of Muong Khuong commune directed specialized agencies to focus on propaganda and guidance for people to plant at the right time and with the right techniques, ensuring that seedlings do not die from cold or waterlogging, keeping the soil loose; have plans to connect with businesses and cooperatives to consume agricultural products, creating stable output for products.
It is expected that by the end of October, the entire commune will have planted 15 hectares of potatoes and 3 hectares of broccoli. With the support of the Party and the State, the people of Muong Khuong commune expect this year's winter crop, especially potatoes, to have high yields.
