My Tien posts the 'most romantic photo of SEA Games 33'.

"The golden-silver-bronze couple" is the witty nickname given by the Vietnamese swimming community to Thanh Bao and My Tien after their participation in the swimming competition officially concluded at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the evening of December 15th, the swimming competition officially concluded at the 33rd SEA Games, and the two athletes Thanh Bao and My Tien had an incredibly explosive day of competition.

Pham Thanh Bao concluded the SEA Games with two gold medals in the breaststroke events. Prior to this SEA Games, Thanh Bao had already won four gold medals in the breaststroke group, earning him the amusing nickname "the frog prince" from his fans.

And in Thailand, Thanh Bao's performance was even more incredible, ultimately achieving a "double gold" in the breaststroke events for the first time.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Vo Thi My Tien, also had the most brilliant SEA Games of her career, since making her debut in 2022 at the 31st SEA Games.

At these SEA Games, My Tien won 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. Among these, My Tien won 5 individual medals, spanning events from the 400m freestyle and 800m freestyle to the 200m breaststroke, 200m individual medley, and 400m individual medley. In addition, she contributed to two historic bronze medals in the relay for the Vietnamese swimming team.

My Tien was chosen to inherit the freestyle and individual medley swimming events from her senior, Anh Vien. Although she cannot yet be compared to this legendary swimmer, My Tien is clearly showing remarkable progress at the age of 20.

After the final day of competition, My Tien posted a heartwarming moment of her and her boyfriend Thanh Bao standing together, leaning on each other's shoulders, and showing off their unique collection of "gold, silver, and bronze" jewelry.

Thanh Bảo won 2 gold medals, while Mỹ Tiên won 3 silver and 4 bronze medals; those medals account for half of the Vietnamese swimming team's achievements.

This photo immediately went viral on social media, as well as in the Vietnamese sports community, and was considered "the most romantic moment of SEA Games 33". Numerous fans sent congratulatory messages, even... blessings, to this handsome couple.

A few days earlier, Thanh Bao had posted an incredibly adorable picture celebrating his 200m breaststroke victory by making a T-sign with his fingers, representing his girlfriend My Tien's name. This was also the time when My Tien was under pressure after being publicly criticized by the leaders of the Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association, causing her to break down in tears.

These two athletes from the Mekong Delta region grew up together at the Can Tho National Sports Training Center and have been teammates for many years, before their relationship "took a step further" recently.
