On the afternoon of April 15, speaking with VietNamNet reporters, the leader of the People's Committee of Pham Ngu Lao Ward (Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong ) said that the authorities are working with the family to actively search for Bui Minh Chau (born in 2010, residing in Pham Ngu Lao Ward).

Previously, the authorities received a report from Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Ninh (born in 1976, residing in Le Chan district, Hai Phong city) about her son Bui Minh Chau leaving home for many days and the family could not contact him.

Immediately after receiving the report, local authorities coordinated to verify and broadcast a search notice on the mass media.

According to information from the family, Chau left home at around 7:00 p.m. on March 28. Before leaving, he wore a dark blue jacket and a t-shirt underneath, rode an electric bike and showed no unusual signs.

After the family shared information about their search for their child on social media, an internet cafe owner said he had seen Chau and invited the family to verify. Images extracted from a security camera showed Chau at the cafe on the evening of March 28 and left at 10 p.m. Since then, there has been no further information about the child, making the family extremely worried.

Currently, authorities and family are still trying to search.
