Conference Overview.

Thanh Van Nghe Magazine is the mouthpiece of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association, established in 1994.

During more than 30 years of establishment and development, Thanh Van Nghe Magazine has been both a place to introduce Thanh Van Nghe's literary and artistic works to readers nationwide, and a place to gather, encourage and promote the development of the literary and artistic creation movement, contributing to creating the cultural face and spiritual life of the people in the province.

Many generations of VNS appearing in Thanh Van Nghe Magazine have made outstanding contributions to the development of contemporary Vietnamese literature and arts.

Currently, Thanh Van Nghe Magazine is considered one of the top literary magazines in the country.

The Collaborator Meeting is an annual activity to evaluate and look back on a year of the magazine's activities, and is also an opportunity to encourage and express deep gratitude to the team of collaborators inside and outside the province who have enthusiastically collaborated with the magazine over the past time.

The most practical contribution of the editorial team is the quality works published in each publication, contributing to the appearance and vitality of the magazine.”

At the conference, the opinions of the contributors all affirmed the role, position and achievements of the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Magazine. Particularly, the attention, focus and efforts to connect, gather and develop a team of prestigious and quality contributors from all over the country to come to Thanh Hoa and collaborate with the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Magazine were acknowledged.

In addition, the opinions of the contributors have opened up more "slices", giving a clearer view of the limitations, difficulties and challenges in the magazine's operation journey in general, and the expansion and improvement of the quality of the contributor team in particular.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association Pham Duy Phuong suggested that the Editorial Board of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Magazine should focus more on building an electronic magazine. That is the right and necessary direction in the current context.

In the constant flow of modern journalism, local literary magazines have been making efforts to bring literary and artistic works to readers as quickly as possible. Building an electronic magazine will create a larger “playground”, attract more contributors, and the magazine’s reputation and position will spread more widely.

The magazine needs to continue to research, boldly propose to increase pages, increase issues, increase circulation, especially bring the magazine to mountainous districts, communes and schools... From there, it will not only meet the needs of readers but also create conditions to promote more valuable literary and artistic works to the public, especially helping young authors have more opportunities to get closer to readers.

In the current context, competition between magazines is a competition to “retain” and expand the team of good contributors. Therefore, the Editorial Board of Thanh Van Nghe Magazine needs to have many innovations and long-term strategies to build and develop the team of contributors in both quantity and quality.

Within the framework of the conference, Thanh Van Nghe Magazine awarded 5 outstanding contributors in 2025.
