(CTTĐTBP) - On April 29, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh attended the conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution 347 dated May 23, 2015 of the Central Military Commission on improving the quality of research, forecasting and strategic advice on national defense until 2020 and the following years. The conference was organized by the Provincial Military Party Committee.

Also attending the conference were representatives of Military Region 7, departments, branches and localities in the province.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh and representatives of Military Region 7, departments, branches, and localities attended the conference.

After 10 years of implementation, the concretization of the content and spirit of Resolution 347 by the Provincial Military Party Committee has achieved good results; promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to handle situations, avoid being passive and surprised, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and stabilizing the border line in the province. In the work of perfecting and improving the capacity of cadres doing research, forecasting, and advising on national defense strategies, 421 cadres have been sent to participate in training at military academies and schools; 85.5% of permanent cadres and militia have college or university degrees or higher. Regarding promoting innovative activities, 27 initiatives and improvements have been recognized and effectively applied in training and exercises.

Colonel Nguyen Tan Linh, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7, spoke at the conference.

Colonel Tran Van Long, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, spoke at the conference.

Regarding international cooperation activities, regularly organize information exchange, bilateral patrols, fight against all kinds of crimes, illegal immigration across the border, provide material support, medical examination and treatment, and provide free medicine to people in the provinces bordering the Kingdom of Cambodia with a total budget of 25.6 billion VND. In the following years, along with perfecting the mechanism and process of research and strategic forecasting in the direction of professionalism - connection - high application, the Provincial Military Party Committee will also focus on improving the professional capacity and thinking of the staff directly doing research work, performing well the military and local defense tasks, building and operating the defense zone effectively, contributing significantly to the completion of all assigned tasks.
