The RIA news agency quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying that on August 10, two drones were attacked by air defense systems near the city of Sevastopol on the Crimean coast while the remaining nine were disabled by electronic warfare systems and crashed in the Black Sea.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not reported any damage or casualties in any of the affected areas.
The attacks came a day after Russia said two Ukrainian drones heading for Moscow had been shot down, the fourth such attack near the Russian capital in a week.
Before the spate of attacks in recent months, Moscow had not been a target in the conflict in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Crimean peninsula has seen multiple attacks in recent weeks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned in July that a conflict was brewing with Russia, with its symbolic centers and military bases being targeted.
