In an interview with Rossiya 1 TV channel, President Putin noted that the Russian Defense Ministry has different views on the development and use of Oreshnik. He supports those who are determined to produce and test this complex in real combat conditions.
The Russian leader stressed that Oreshnik is fundamentally a new weapon, developed in the post-Soviet era and has no analogues in the world . He also noted that testing will continue, including in real combat conditions, depending on the nature of threats to Moscow's security.
