On the afternoon of May 22, Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (Ngan 98) posted information on Facebook and posted a clip on her personal TikTok about going to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to work.

According to the article, she said she had provided complete documents related to three weight loss products including herbal pills X7 Plus, Super Detox X3 and X1000 to the Department of Food Safety that same morning.

"Everything will be cleared up, thank you for accepting Ngan's feedback," the article stated.

Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online on May 22, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety confirmed that on May 22, Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (nickname Ngan 98) came to this agency to work and provide information related to the case of "weight loss products suspected of being of poor quality" that is causing a stir on social networks. This agency is currently mainly in the process of inspection and verification, and has not yet concluded.

Previously, on May 21, based on the information printed on the packaging of weight loss products advertised by Ngan 98, inspectors of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety went to the address 154 Pham Van Chieu, Ward 9, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City - the address of ZUBU Trading and Service Company Limited, the organization responsible for the product and registered the product declaration (printed on the packaging). However, the authorities recorded that on May 21, this company was not at the above address.

Ngan 98: Products are clearly tested, quality guaranteed

On the evening of May 21, Ngan 98 affirmed that the weight loss products that she represents (including herbal pills X7 Plus, Super Detox X3 and X1000) are all clearly tested and ensure quality for consumers.

She herself sent the products for cross-testing. The above products were declared according to regulations, had full and clear legal documents, were inspected and ensured to have accompanying vouchers before being exported to the distribution company.

Ngan 98 suspects that many people have set her up to slander, harm, and insult her honor and reputation as well as the products that she represents.

Ngan 98 said that she has coordinated with the distribution company, provided documents and made records of individuals showing signs of staging incidents and slandering product quality to send to the competent authorities.

Through the incident, Ngan 98 hopes that the authorities will investigate and clarify, thereby protecting the legitimate rights of individuals and businesses.
