- In recent school years, the Departmentof Education and Training of Loc Binh district has made many efforts to improve the quality of key education, along with ensuring mass education. In the 2024-2025 school year, the Department of Education and Training of the district continues to reap many "sweet fruits" from the work of discovering and nurturing excellent students at all levels.

Currently, Loc Binh district has 74 schools at all levels with more than 20,000 students. In the past 3 school years, the rate of advanced students, excellent students at all levels and the rate of passing the 10th grade of specialized schools in the district has tended to increase, affirming that the work of improving the quality of key education is increasingly focused on by the district's Department of Education and Training.

A clear proof is the results of the provincial-level excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year, Loc Binh district had 46/55 students participating in the exam winning prizes (including 2 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 18 third prizes, 12 consolation prizes), reaching an impressive rate of 83.6%. This is the second consecutive year that the district has led the province in the rate of students winning prizes, an increase of 1.2% compared to the 2023-2024 school year (82.4%) and a significant increase of 11.9% compared to the 2022-2023 school year.

Ms. Nong Thi Thu, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Loc Binh district, said: To achieve effectiveness in the training of key education, the department has directed the staff and teachers to regularly organize assessments of students' abilities to promptly adjust teaching plans and methods, ensuring the completion of tasks of each stage. At the same time, it focuses on selecting good teachers with high expertise and experience to train the gifted student team. At the same time, it directs schools to promptly encourage and motivate their spirit and create conditions for students to participate in intellectual playgrounds to exchange and learn.

As one of the key schools in terms of educational quality in Loc Binh district, over the years, Loc Binh Town Secondary School has always ensured the overall quality of education, maintaining its top position in the district in the gifted student exam and the annual 10th grade entrance exam. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 142 gifted students at the district level and 37 gifted students at the provincial level, continuing to maintain its leading position in the number of students winning awards.

Sharing about the training of gifted students, Ms. Le Thi Kim Hue, Principal of Loc Binh Town Secondary School, said: The school always focuses on discovering and training gifted students in each subject from grade 6 with a detailed and scientific review plan. At the same time, assigning highly qualified and professional teachers to train the team. In addition, the school encourages teachers to innovate methods, find solutions to improve quality and create conditions for students to participate in online competitions to gain experience.

Along with surveying and evaluating students' abilities, the school always focuses on understanding their thoughts and aspirations to promptly support and encourage them to participate in the team and compete in gifted students at all levels. Nong Thi Dieu Linh, a 9B student at Thong Nhat Primary and Secondary School, won third prize in History at the provincial gifted student competition. She shared : With my own efforts, I have received thoughtful guidance and encouragement from teachers and the school board. That was a great motivation for me to achieve results in the provincial gifted student competition .

With a long history of achievements maintained and continued by the teaching staff and generations of students, for many consecutive years, Hoa Binh Primary School (Loc Binh town, Loc Binh district) has always achieved and exceeded the target of the number of comprehensively gifted students. From previous school years to the end of the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, the school has had over 500 students winning prizes in online intellectual playgrounds, scientific and technical research, physical education and sports ... at all levels, including more than 70 national prizes and more than 90 provincial prizes.
