Tax sector fully exploits remaining revenue sources

In 2025, the Ministry of Finance assigned the total state budget revenue estimate in the province to be 6,252 billion VND, and the Provincial People's Council assigned the estimate to be 6,434 billion VND. In the past 4 months, the total budget revenue in the area reached 2,521 billion VND, equal to 40.1% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government and 39% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Notably, domestic revenue collected by the tax authority reached 2,510 billion VND, up 1.2% over the same period last year.

According to the analysis from the tax authority, the growth in budget revenue is thanks to the drastic direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee. Along with that, the tax authority always accompanies businesses, promotes and supports businesses to promptly grasp tax policies; promptly implements policies to support exemption, reduction, and extension to motivate businesses to stabilize their finances.

Mr. Tran Quang Thanh - Deputy Head of Tax Department of Region XIV - informed: "The tax authority promotes reform of tax administrative procedures, electronicization, and digitalization of tax management to facilitate people and businesses. Through that, it contributes to building a transparent and professional business environment for the local business community to develop sustainably".

Currently, the tax authority manages more than 5,600 operating enterprises. In fulfilling tax obligations, revenues from the economic sector and other revenues currently account for 87.3% of domestic revenue. Of which, revenues from the central state-owned enterprise sector reached 363 billion VND, revenues from local enterprises reached 21.4 billion VND, revenues from foreign-invested enterprises reached 154.7 billion VND, revenues from the non-state economic sector reached 797 billion VND...

In the first 4 months of 2025, the Company has been doing well in the motorbike sector. This is a segment with many advantages and room for growth in sales, with more than 80% of customers located in the districts. From the business results of the first months of 2025, the Company has achieved its sales growth target of 10-20% this year.

The Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Region XIV affirmed: “In tax management, the unit always closely follows the socio-economic development situation and production and business activities to proactively forecast and evaluate the potential for revenue growth.

At the same time, regularly review a number of sectors and fields that still have room to offset or balance revenue reductions and shortfalls due to the implementation of support policies, analyze and evaluate revenue sources with room to create growth momentum for the budget, and be determined to complete the state budget revenue estimate for 2025.
