Creating important premises and foundations for national development On December 29, to evaluate the achievements and results and provide development orientations for the information and communications industry in the coming time, the Ministry of Information and Communications held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025, in a direct and online format to 63 provinces and cities.

Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc attended and directed the conference at the headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications. Opening the conference, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung stated that the Government's issuance of the National Digital Transformation Program in 2020 was a strong, pioneering decision and the past 5 years have been a journey of both doing and exploring; and affirmed: It is the spirit of daring to explore that has put Vietnam in the group of countries with the fastest growth rates in digital economy, e-commerce, digital government, online public services and digital transformation in general in the region and the world. "5 years ago, IT application was popular, digital transformation was very new. Digital transformation is new not only to Vietnam but also to the world. The most important thing about new things is the spirit of daring to explore. Whoever dares to explore will be the leader" , Minister Nguyen Manh Hung analyzed.
