The working delegation conducted a field survey at the Party Committee, People's Committee and Public Administration Service Center of My Thoi (new), Long Xuyen (new) and Binh Duc (new) wards.
At each destination, comrade Ho Van Mung and the delegation thoroughly inspected many key contents, including: Thoroughly grasping the documents of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on merging commune-level administrative units and preparing for the operation of the two-level government. The arrangement and organization of the apparatus and personnel to ensure stability and continuity in the operations of the newly merged commune-level administrative units. The preparation of working offices and equipment for the operations of new agencies and units, especially the commune-level public administrative service center, aiming to best serve the people. The installation and inspection of the transmission system and information technology infrastructure for the operation and settlement of administrative procedures. Propagating and guiding people to ensure that information about transaction locations and new administrative procedures reaches the people. The organization of trial operations of agencies and organizations in new wards and communes.
At the end of the inspection, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the thoughtful and prompt preparation of Long Xuyen City. In particular, local leaders need to prepare a spacious public administrative service center; fully prepare nameplates of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Mobilization Bloc, and Fatherland Front in new wards and communes.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Long Xuyen City in particular and localities in the province in general to pay special attention during the process of moving, renovating and repairing facilities, ensuring that assets and documents are not lost. Emphasizing the importance of the trial operation of new commune-level agencies on June 22, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed localities to be ready for this day, in the spirit of "trial operation but real work". The entire political system must be present at their correct working positions, ready to receive and handle administrative procedures for people, even on Sundays.
To achieve this goal, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested localities to strengthen propaganda work so that people can clearly understand the information and go to the public administrative service centers at their place of residence to carry out administrative procedures.
