In Dak Lak and Lam Dong, pepper prices are both VND143,000/kg after a decrease of VND3,000/kg. In Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, pepper prices both decreased by VND3,500/kg, recording at VND142,000/kg.
In the world market, pepper prices did not fluctuate, stable compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper was traded at 7,229 USD/ton; Muntok white pepper was at 10,088 USD/ton.
In Malaysia, ASTA black pepper prices remained at USD 9,500/ton; white pepper reached USD 12,500/ton. In Brazil, pepper prices remained around USD 6,100/ton.
Similarly, the prices of all types of pepper in Vietnam have not changed. Of which, the price of 500 gr/l black pepper reached 6,400 USD/ton, 550 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; the price of white pepper reached 9,050 USD/ton.
