On September 4, coffee prices dropped sharply by 6,200-6,500 VND/kg.

(GLO)- The domestic market on September 4 recorded a sharp decline in coffee prices. In key growing areas, coffee prices decreased by 6,200-6,500 VND/kg, currently trading around 114,300-115,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai province, coffee fell to 114,800 VND/kg after a decrease of 6,200 VND/kg today. In Dak Lak province, coffee is priced at 115,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 6,300 VND/kg.

Coffee prices fell the most in Lam Dong province with 6,500 VND/kg, currently being purchased at 114,300 VND/kg.

In the world market, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for September 2025 futures contract reached 4,599 USD/ton, down slightly by 0.07% (3 USD/ton) compared to yesterday; the November 2025 futures contract increased by 0.68% (30 USD/ton), to 4,429 USD/ton.

In contrast, on the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee futures for September 2025 delivery increased by 1.86% (7.1 US cents/pound) to 389.3 US cents/pound; the price of December 2025 futures increased by 0.76% (2.8 US cents/pound) to 373.15 US cents/pound.
