Pleiku Ward Police signed a twinning agreement with Op village.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of October 26, Pleiku Ward Police (Gia Lai Province) held a ceremony to sign a twinning agreement with Op village.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Ward Police; Party Committee, military and civilian officials of the village, along with village elders, prestigious people and a large number of people.

Op Village is located in the East of Pleiku Ward, about 3.5 km from the ward center. The village has 221 households with 857 people, mainly Jrai people.

Over the past years, security and order in the village have been basically maintained; the movement of the entire people to protect national security has been maintained and promoted; core forces at the grassroots level, village elders, and prestigious people have been active.

The village is currently oriented to become a community cultural tourism village of the ward.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Pleiku Ward Police and the political system of Op village signed a twinning agreement, agreeing to coordinate in ensuring security and order, propagating the law; participating in the movement of the whole people to protect national security; supporting socio -economic development, building cultural life and maintaining exchange activities, connecting officers, soldiers with the people.

The two sides agreed to build a strong and united relationship; join hands and unite for the goal of: "Maintain security - Develop economy - Culture imbued with national identity - People's prosperity and happiness".

On this occasion, Pleiku Ward Police presented 10 fire extinguishers to Op village; the Ward Police Women's Association presented 1,500 milk boxes to children in the village.
