Pleiku Ward Police signed a twinning agreement with Op village.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of October 26, Pleiku Ward Police (Gia Lai Province) held a ceremony to sign a twinning agreement with Op village.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Police of the ward; the Party committee, military and civilian officials of the village, along with village elders, influential people, and a large number of local residents.

Op village is located east of Pleiku ward, about 3.5 km from the ward center. The village has 221 households with 857 inhabitants, mainly Jrai people.

Over the years, security and order in the village have been basically maintained; the movement of the entire population protecting national security has been sustained and promoted; and core forces at the grassroots level, village elders, and influential people have been actively involved.

The village is currently being developed into a community-based cultural tourism village within the ward.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Pleiku Ward Police and the political system of Op village signed a fraternal agreement, agreeing to coordinate in ensuring security and order, disseminating legal information; participating in the nationwide movement to protect national security; supporting socio -economic development, building cultural life, and maintaining exchange and bonding activities between officers and soldiers and the people.

Both sides unanimously agreed to build a strong and enduring relationship; working together towards the goal of: "Maintaining security - Developing the economy - Preserving the rich national culture - Ensuring the people's prosperity and happiness."

On this occasion, the Pleiku Ward Police donated 10 fire extinguishers to Op village; the Women's Association of the Ward Police donated 1,500 boxes of milk to the children in the village.

Toan Trung One-Member Limited Company donated 20 helmets to the people of Op village, contributing to spreading the spirit of community responsibility and working together for the safety and happiness of the people.
