The 2024 Bac Kan Provincial Job Fair and a series of activities will take place from September 1 to September 30, with the participation of units, businesses, vocationaltraining institutions and more than 10,000 labor recruitment and vocational training enrollment targets through the form of providing labor market information, enrollment, and direct recruitment at mobile job conferences in communes, wards, and towns in the province and online through bridges at the Employment Service Centers of 10 provinces and cities.
This activity aims to strengthen leadership, raise awareness of local levels, sectors and workers in the field of labor - employment and vocational training; promote activities to provide information on domestic and foreign labor markets, jobs, vocational training, social insurance, unemployment insurance for workers and employers; support workers in career orientation, job search and training professions.

Speaking at the Festival, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Ha Thi Lieu emphasized that this is the first time the Job Fair has been organized at the provincial level, with the participation of 30 enterprises. Through this Festival, it is hoped that enterprises, recruitment and service providers will have the opportunity to approach workers to introduce, consult, recruit and provide services to workers in Bac Kan province; create opportunities for workers to directly get acquainted with the domestic and foreign labor market, choose suitable jobs for themselves, with high and stable income...
From 2021 to present, Bac Kan province has created new jobs for over 20,000 people, of which over 4,000 people have gone to work abroad under contracts, over 3,000 people have gone through loans to create jobs, and over 12,000 people have gone through public employment policies. The number of people of working age in the province is over 200,000 people.
