Tomorrow (June 6), more than 11,000 candidates in the province will officially take the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year. Of these, 10,277 candidates registered to take the exam at public high schools, and 772 candidates registered to take the exam at Bien Hoa Specialized High School.

Candidates will take the exam at 23 examination councils, of which 22 examination councils are located at public high schools with 440 examination rooms and 1 examination council is located at Bien Hoa Specialized High School. Candidates will take the exam in 3 general subjects including Math, Literature and English over 2 days (June 6-7); on June 8, candidates registering for Bien Hoa Specialized High School will take the exam in specialized subjects.

Math and Literature are applied in essay form; English is applied in essay form combined with multiple choice and has an additional listening part to assess students' skills. The test is calculated on a 10-point scale and the test scores of Math, Literature and English are all calculated with a coefficient of 1. The test time for Math and Literature is 120 minutes, English is 60 minutes, and specialized subjects is 150 minutes. For students taking specialized exams, the scores of general subject exams are calculated with a coefficient of 1, and the scores of specialized subjects are calculated with a coefficient of 2.

Regarding the specific time of the exam, on the morning of June 6, candidates listened to the announcement of the exam regulations, exam schedule, checked candidate information, corrected errors in information (if any), and in the afternoon of the same day, candidates took the Literature exam. On June 7, in the morning, candidates took the Math exam and in the afternoon, they took the English exam. Candidates registered for Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted will take specialized subjects all day on June 8.

To ensure the exam takes place safely and seriously, the Departmentof Education and Training mobilized over 1,600 officials, teachers, and coordinating forces to perform tasks at the exam councils to ensure the correct and sufficient structure, composition, and quantity according to regulations.
