Implementing the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 70 on focusing on responding to the risk of landslides, flash floods, and localized flooding in the North, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense issued an official dispatch, requesting:

Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns: Continue to closely monitor the situation, promptly and effectively organize and implement measures to proactively respond to natural disasters, especially landslides, flash floods and localized flooding to ensure safety of life and reduce damage to property of the people and the State. Absolutely do not allow interruptions in the leadership and direction of response to natural disasters when implementing the rearrangement of administrative units and organization of local governments at 2 levels.
Director of Nghe An Province Hydrometeorological Station: Focus on closely monitoring, supervising, warning, forecasting, and providing timely information on weather and natural disasters to departments, branches, localities, and people to proactively deploy response work.
Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment: Closely monitor the situation of rain and floods, proactively direct and effectively implement the work of ensuring the safety of dikes, dams, protecting agricultural production and aquaculture, and exploiting aquatic and seafood products.
Manager Department of Industry and Trade: According to the assigned state management function, coordinate with localities and units to direct the work of ensuring the safety of hydroelectric reservoirs; direct the regulation of hydroelectric reservoirs to ensure scientific operation, absolute safety for the project and downstream areas, and at the same time effectively use water resources for power generation during the peak hot months.
Director of the Department of Construction: Directs the review and implementation of plans to ensure traffic safety and traffic infrastructure and construction works in case of natural disasters, promptly repairs landslides and traffic routes that have been cut off, ensuring smooth traffic, especially national highways and main traffic routes.
Agencies: Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command; Provincial Police: Direct relevant units and forces stationed in the area to closely coordinate with localities, proactively arrange forces and means to support evacuation and relocation of residents from dangerous areas, organize rescue, and overcome consequences when requested by localities.
Provincial Radio and Television Station, Nghe An Newspaper and press agencies: Strengthen communication, raise awareness, guide people on disaster prevention and control skills; update forecast information, report promptly and accurately on natural disaster developments so that people know and proactively respond appropriately.
Directors of Departments, Heads of other relevant departments, branches and organizations: According to their state management functions and assigned tasks, proactively direct and coordinate with localities to promptly and effectively deploy measures to respond to heavy rains, risks of landslides, flash floods and localized flooding.
Organize on-duty seriously, regularly report to the Provincial Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense (through the Standing Office).
