The program takes place on two nights, July 24 and 25, at Hoan Kiem Theater.

Conductor Le Phi Phi - son of musician Hoang Van, conductor of the music night - said this is a program to show gratitude to the audience who have loved his music for more than half a century.
The program introduces a full musical portrait of musician Hoang Van, from instrumental music, choral music, to art songs, and even works that have never been performed or have lost recordings or scores from more than half a century ago.
In addition to the musical version of the poem " Night Scenery " by President Ho Chi Minh , "My Hometown Quang Binh" is renewed with the combination of the moon lute of People's Artist Co Huy Hung and the symphony orchestra, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy Symphony No. II , Chapter 1 Memorial .

Conductor Le Phi Phi said that to reflect Hoang Van's musical portrait, the program will have the participation of a symphony orchestra, folk music group, choir, instrumental soloists, adult choir and children's choir - quite rare.
Most of the works performed will be reconstructions of arrangements made by musician Hoang Van himself, who left many marks in the art of musical arrangement at that time.
Dr. Le Y Linh - daughter of musician Hoang Van, who wrote the script for the program - said this is a rare opportunity for the audience to enjoy the scholarly aspect of Hoang Van's compositions.
