Artist Hai Nhat 'Saigon Special Forces' suffers a stroke

According to information from his family, artist Hai Nhat was hospitalized on October 16 in critical condition after a stroke.

Actor Thanh Dat, son of artist Hai Nhat, said he was sitting with his family when he suddenly collapsed, his face pale, showing signs of cardiac arrest. His family quickly gave him first aid and took him to the hospital. He was resuscitated, then transferred to the intensive care unit.

Artist Hai Nhat was hospitalized for a stroke.

Thanh Dat said his father is now past the dangerous stage but is sometimes unconscious and has to be on a ventilator. The doctor told him to continue monitoring and the family is still on duty. "He is gradually stabilizing but there will be after-effects and his health will be weak in the future," Thanh Dat added.

Artist Hai Nhat has suffered from high blood pressure and heart disease for many years. He takes care of himself at home and keeps his spirits up so he does not get sick.

Artist Hai Nhat's real name is Nguyen Mai A, born in 1948 in Ninh Binh . In 40 years of pursuing acting, he has participated in more than 100 roles. He is known to the audience for his role as Ba Can in Saigon Special Forces .

He also participated in many films such as Night Owl, Hidden Face, The Boss's Daughter, Cold-Blooded Night Bandit, Saigon Commando Children...

In his old age, Hai Nhat stopped working in the arts and turned to raising swiftlets. He has a son, actor Thanh Dat, who follows in his footsteps and a daughter-in-law, singer Hai Bang.
