THE EXCITING IS ONLY ON THE FACIAL FIELD
Normally, the "afternoon market" scene will make matches that are considered meaningless (for one side) boring and predictable. But, there must be a reason why English football, for generations, has always been considered the most entertaining football in the world .

In the Premier League, players often give their all when they step on the pitch, regardless of who their opponents are or whether they have important goals to achieve. This has led to only two of the six teams behind champions Liverpool winning last weekend. The race for the Champions League has been shaken.
Despite being relegated, Southampton and Leicester both played with great determination, sharing points with Man.City and Nottingham Forest. As a result, even Man.City is now at risk of losing their ticket. Forest, once considered the team with the highest hopes in this race, is now the team with the least hope.
The problem is not only that Southampton and Leicester have just made Man.City and Forest lose points, but those results show that from now on, no team can be confident that they will "get 3 points" when facing opponents who no longer have a goal in the remaining 2 rounds. The remaining 10 matches are therefore all worth watching, and the results are not easy to predict.
This year, the Premier League is granted 5 Champions League spots (independent of the Champions League spot thanks to the Europa League championship of Tottenham or MU). Currently, only champion Liverpool has secured a spot, the remaining 6 teams are competing for the next 4 spots, including: Arsenal (68 points, after 36 rounds), Newcastle (66), Man.City (65), Chelsea (63), Aston Villa (63), Forest (62). In this group, there are still 2 direct confrontations in the remaining 2 rounds: Arsenal - Newcastle and Forest - Chelsea.
Villa is going fast
In the last 30 matches of the Champions League group (6 teams, each team plays 5 matches), there have been only 16 wins in total, meaning they have lost points in 14 matches. In that context, Villa's record of winning 4/5 recent matches is excellent. That is also the reason why from being desperate, Villa now has a chance to compete. They are close to the 5th position (the last Champions League spot): equal on points with Chelsea, only losing on secondary goals.
Villa are also the only team with home advantage in both remaining matches. More notably, Villa will face the two worst teams in the league right now, Tottenham and MU.
It is important to distinguish: teams that have run out of goals can still play well, but Tottenham and MU have recently been proactive in avoiding injuries, saving their strength for their Europa League final. That is why both Tottenham and MU have lost 4 and drawn 1 in their last 5 matches.
Forest have dropped to seventh place, but a home win against Chelsea would be a different story. In the other head-to-head match, Newcastle could even challenge Arsenal for second place if they win away from home.
