"Southern Affection" contributes more than 25 billion VND to support the people of Central Vietnam

The music night “Southern Affection” was organized by Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9) in collaboration with the Party Committee and People's Committee of An Khanh Ward (Ho Chi Minh City) and Khong Ten Tea Room on the evening of November 30 to raise funds to support the work of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods in the Central region.

Attending the music night were: former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat, General Le Hong Anh; Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh; General Director of Vietnam Television Nguyen Thanh Lam; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Truong Thanh Hoai; Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc; Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Vo Van Minh; along with many guests and a large audience.

According to the organizers, the event was held to raise emergency funds through the Vietnam Heart Fund of Vietnam Television, thereby supporting people in the Central region to overcome the severe consequences of natural disasters and floods in 2025.

The program features famous singers such as: Hong Nhung, Dam Vinh Hung, Quang Dung, Thanh Thao, Cam Van - Khac Trieu, Jimmii Nguyen, Le Hieu, Uyen Linh, Trung Quan Idol, Giang Hong Ngoc, MTV group, Cece Truong, Jack Long, Phuong Diem Huyen, On Vinh Quang, Thu Hang, Nguyen Kieu Oanh... and MC Nguyen Khang and Thuy Hang.

Southern Compassion 2025 aims to raise funds for overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods.

At the music night, many familiar songs honoring the beauty of the homeland, the beloved Central region, along with new expectations and hopes after the storm and flood were performed, such as Homeland, Love of Trees and Land, Homeland River, Love for the Central Region, A Circle of Vietnam, or The Day Before Storms...

Each performance is not only an artistic performance but also a prayer for peace sent to the Central region. The singers hope to use their voices to support the work of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, spreading the spirit of unity and love.

At the program, businessman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen - Chairman of the Inter -Pacific Group donated 6 billion VND.

At the end of the program, the organizers announced that the amount of money raised from the Southern Love Music Night 2025 was more than 25 billion VND. The organizers committed that all the money raised and contributed from the music night will be transferred directly to the Vietnamese Heart Fund to contribute to relief activities, rebuilding houses and livelihoods for people in flood-affected areas, ensuring the most transparency and practicality.
