Within the framework of the program, the delegation learned about the history of milestone number 41; offered incense at the memorial house for martyrs and visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers at Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station.
The delegation offered flowers and incense at Uncle Ho's Monument with Border Guard soldiers; handed over the 2km-long "Lighting up the Border" youth project, organized sports and cultural exchanges with officers and soldiers at Ia Rve Border Guard Station.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Xuan; visited and presented gifts to 4 families of soldiers working in the border area.
In Ia Lop commune, units presented 10 gifts to policy families; 30 scholarships to students; and 10 bicycles to children.
About 200 people were examined, given health advice, and given free medicine. In addition, a free haircut program was organized.
Game booths and zero-cost booths (free clothes and necessities) attract children and people to come and choose.
On this occasion, the delegation handed over youth projects including: “Lighting up the countryside road” project, 1km long, and presented 100 flags to the people of Du village; “Trung village welcome gate” project; volleyball court project and community sports area.
Through these activities, the youth's spirit of volunteerism and initiative is promoted in participating in socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, and further strengthening solidarity between union members, youth, border guards and people in border areas.
The program has a total implementation budget of more than 600 million VND.
