New home for soldiers of Naval Region 5 Command: Warm camaraderie, new start for the future

On the afternoon of December 20, at Hamlet 1, Hang Vinh Commune, Nam Can District, Ca Mau Province, the Naval Region 5 Command coordinated with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank and local Party Committees and authorities to organize the handover ceremony of "Comrades' House" to soldiers with difficult housing circumstances who are working at the unit. Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Region chaired the handover ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Naval Region 5 Command presented the Decision to hand over the "Comrades' House" to the family of professional military Lieutenant Doan Xuan Cuong, Maritime Officer, Ship 5003, Squadron 516, Brigade 175.

The “Comrades House” has an area of ^​​90m2 , after more than 2 months of construction was completed and put into use. The construction cost was more than 300 million VND. Of which, 80 million VND was supported by the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, the remaining amount was from family savings and relatives.

Naval Region 5 Command shares the joy of welcoming a new house with the family of their comrades.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan emphasized: Supporting the construction of "Comrades' House" is a meaningful and deeply humane activity, demonstrating the affection and concern of the Commander of Naval Region 5 and the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank for soldiers with difficult housing circumstances. Thereby, contributing to encouraging, motivating, and helping military families have more conditions to improve in life.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong, wife of Senior Lieutenant Doan Xuan Cuong, shared: “Previously, my family lived in a temporary, cramped corrugated iron house, so daily life was difficult. I am very excited to receive support from the Naval Region 5 Command in coordination with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank to build a solid level 4 house right before the New Year. This is a great source of spiritual motivation for my husband to work with peace of mind and complete his assigned tasks well.”

At the handover ceremony, the Naval Region 5 Command, Brigade 175 and local authorities presented the family of professional soldier Lieutenant Doan Xuan Cuong with many practical gifts.

On the same afternoon, during the working program in Ca Mau province, Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan chaired a democratic dialogue conference with officers and soldiers of Brigade 175 and the Technical-Logistics Support Center.

Soldiers of Brigade 175 gave their opinions at the conference.

At the conference, officers and soldiers from all units participated in contributing many enthusiastic and responsible opinions. The opinions expressed by the soldiers all revolved around logistics, living conditions, regimes, policies, building a regular order and enforcing discipline.

Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan chaired the democratic dialogue conference.

Regarding the issues raised by officers and soldiers, Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan and the functional agencies of the Region have recorded, analyzed, and responded satisfactorily in the spirit of frankness, democracy, and responsibility, creating high consensus and unanimity within the unit.
