Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai holds the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term.

On November 7, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held the 5th Conference of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Conference elected Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF, and Central organizations, to hold the position of Chairwoman of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.

According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Conference was attended by Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, former President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations.

At the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, announced the Politburo 's opinion on the personnel introduced for consultation to elect the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X. Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented the Presidium's report on supplementing and replacing personnel participating in the Committee members, members of the Presidium, Standing Committee and holding the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, term 2024 - 2029.

Pursuant to the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Politburo's decision on personnel work, the Conference discussed and agreed to consult and elect Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai to join the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024 - 2029.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her honor to be trusted and elected to hold the important position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. She said that she will strive with the Standing Committee, the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to unite, unify leadership, promote the role and responsibility of the Front and mass organizations, make practical contributions to the cause of great national unity, continue to affirm more clearly the role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new revolutionary period, and comprehensively lead the implementation of the functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized that, in the immediate future, the Front needs to urgently implement the program and plan to deploy the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2025-2030 term and the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the Congress; lead and direct the successful organization of the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term; effectively deploy the Front's tasks of participating in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; preside over and coordinate the collection of opinions from all walks of life on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

She also proposed continuing to complete the project to arrange press agencies and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State according to the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat; to do a good job of supervision, social criticism, and protection of the people's legitimate rights and interests.

On this occasion, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai called on all classes of people and our compatriots abroad to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, actively responding to patriotic emulation movements and campaigns chaired and launched by the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations; joining hands and unanimity with the political system to bring the country firmly into a new era, an era of strong, prosperous, civilized and happy development.
