Stop accepting all announcement documents of Doan Di Bang's husband's company

Since May 27, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has stopped accepting cosmetic declaration dossiers of VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited, whose legal representative and general director is Doan Di Bang's husband.

Doan Di Bang's husband, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu, is the legal representative and general director of VB Group Company.

VB Group is the legal entity behind the Hanayuki cosmetics brand. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu - singer Doan Di Bang's husband - is the legal representative and general director of the company.

Since May 7, the Drug Administration has recalled four products distributed by this company, including shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen and skin care mask due to labeling violations and test results not as announced...

Therefore, the Drug Administration Department has sent a document to VB Group Company (address: Mezzanine floor of Dai Thanh Binh building, 911-913-915-917 Nguyen Trai, Ward 14, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City), announcing the temporary suspension of reviewing and receiving cosmetic product declaration dossiers for the company for a period of 6 months, starting from May 27.

Applications for issuance of cosmetic product declaration receipt numbers submitted by VB Group before May 27 will no longer be valid.

When the suspension period for receiving dossiers expires, companies wishing to declare cosmetic products must submit dossiers according to the provisions of Circular No. 06/2011/TT-BYT dated January 25, 2011 of the Ministry of Health .

In a related development, on May 27, Dong Nai provincial authorities held an urgent meeting and agreed to initiate a case to investigate the suspended cosmetics distributed by the company of Doan Di Bang's husband.

In which, it was agreed to initiate a case to investigate signs of counterfeit production of Hanayuki Sunscreen Body sunscreen products produced by EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (Giang Dien Industrial Park, Trang Bom District).

Which products distributed by Doan Di Bang are recalled?

To date, 4 batches of products distributed by Doan Di Bang's husband's company have been recalled and destroyed nationwide. Specifically:

Hanayuki Shampoo batch does not meet quality standards for microbial limits.

The Hanayuki Sunscreen Body batch has a sun protection factor listed on the label as SPF 50 but tested as SPF 2.4 (less than 70% of the product's effectiveness listed on the label).

A batch of Hanayuki Conditioner was found to contain 2-phenoxyethanol, which is not included in the published product formula.

The G-Thera Amino Anti-Wrinkle Mask product batch does not contain the correct formula ingredients as stated in the declaration file (missing Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin).
