On July 3, EPLUS Research Company and the world's leading pharmaceutical group GSK (Belgium) signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation. This cooperation opens up opportunities for the VNVC Vaccination System, a comprehensive strategic partner of EPLUS, to bring to Vietnam many new vaccines, scarce vaccines in large quantities, towards the goal of increasing the vaccination coverage rate, especially for high-risk groups such as pregnant women, the elderly, and people with underlying diseases (diabetes, kidney failure, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, heart failure, hepatitis, asthma, osteoarthritis, etc.).

Through this signing, the cooperation between EPLUS, VNVC and GSK is strengthened and expanded strongly for a healthy community, aiming to improve the effectiveness of health care and bring a long-term, quality life to the Vietnamese people, through many important activities such as establishing a sustainable and continuous vaccine supply chain, including existing vaccines and new vaccines in the future, expanding vaccine coverage to all subjects, raising public awareness of the role of vaccines in protecting the health of themselves and their families...

Over the years, the close cooperation between VNVC and GSK has been an important factor contributing to ensuring a stable source of vaccines in Vietnam, especially the most important vaccines such as 6 in 1, chickenpox, measles - mumps - rubella, Rotavirus... to more people across the country and ensuring safety, effective use, keeping pace with the vaccination programs of developed countries.

Mr. Ngo Chi Dung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EPLUS Research Joint Stock Company, said: "Currently, we have invested in the leading modern vaccine supply network in Vietnam with nearly 120 cold storages meeting Good Storage Practices (GSP) standards and a cold chain system at each VNVC vaccination center, especially a system of 3 deep-freeze cold storages, preserving vaccines at minus 86 degrees Celsius, meeting international standards for the entire process of preserving, transporting, supplying and putting vaccines into use. At the same time, our cold storage system can preserve up to 300 million doses of vaccine at all standard temperatures."

EPLUS representative also emphasized the efforts to bring many new vaccines, scarce vaccines, apply the most advanced technology and logistics solutions to quickly bring safe vaccines closer to the people, fully supply to promptly meet the increasing demand for disease prevention for children and adults. At the same time, together with VNVC, continue to develop a system of large vaccination centers nationwide to bring the opportunity to get safe, quality vaccines at reasonable costs to people across the country.

Also at the signing ceremony, Mr. Luis Arosemena - Senior Vice President, GSK Emerging Markets - emphasized: "Vietnam is one of the 5 priority markets and is heavily invested by GSK out of more than 100 countries in the region. We are pleased to witness the development of the Vietnamese healthcare industry, and with the support of the biopharmaceutical sector in Vietnam, we will continue to combine science, technology and people to bring solutions from prevention to treatment to anyone in need."
