After 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee, Party committees, and commanders of agencies and units have focused on leadership and direction, achieving many important results. Officers and soldiers have raised their sense of responsibility, "setting an exemplary example above, actively following below", contributing to the excellent completion of assigned political tasks at the Fatherland's border.

On the border, the provincial Border Guard officers and soldiers organized tens of thousands of patrols and controls; carried out well border diplomacy and people's diplomacy, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developed border. In the fight against crime, the force has dismantled many major projects. Typically, independently and in coordination, they arrested 116 cases, 164 subjects illegally buying, selling and transporting drugs; 2,597 cases, 802 subjects smuggling; 3,206 cases, 5,904 subjects illegally entering and exiting the country, confiscating a large amount of drugs, firecrackers, and other illegal goods, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the border area.

Party committees and commanders at all levels regularly pay attention to selecting, building, praising and rewarding typical and advanced collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; propagating and replicating typical examples, new models, creative and effective ways of doing things, and mobilizing the entire unit to study and follow. Many models and movements have been carried out throughout the past decade, leaving a strong impression on the "border brand", such as: Movement "Provincial Border Guard joins hands to build new rural areas"; "Provincial Border Guard joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind"; "Young people of An Giang Border Guard follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers"; models "100 Dong House", "Love Piggy Bank", "Love Rice Jar", Program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of border guards"... attracting a large number of cadres, party members and the masses to participate.

In 10 years, local coordinating units, philanthropists inside and outside the province have organized the donation of 265 houses, nearly 200,000 gifts, 5 billion VND in cash to policy households, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in the border area..., with a total value of over 43.5 billion VND (of which, officers and soldiers of the provincial Border Guard contributed 8.6 billion VND); actively participated in more than 162,000 working days to help people build bridges, build houses, build roads, clean the environment, rescue, and rescue...

As Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chief of the Station, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hoa Hiep, together with the Party Committee and the Station Command, focused on leading, directing, and implementing the directives and instructions of the superiors; concretizing them into monthly resolutions for implementation. From there, helping cadres and party members to be more fully aware of the great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, especially studying and following the example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in caring for people's lives, creating high unity in the entire unit. Vinh Xuong International Border Guard Station continuously achieved achievements in the process of performing its tasks, highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command.
