Nguyen Tuan Anh has a bright chance to help Vietnamese golf retain the Faldo Series Asia 2025 Cup

TPO - Nguyen Tuan Anh maintained the leading position after 36 holes of the Faldo Series Asia 2025 final round with a total score of (-7).

Following a favorable start on the opening day, young Vietnamese golfers entered the second day of the Faldo Series Asia 2025 finals with high expectations. Among them, Nguyen Tuan Anh continued to be the most prominent name when maintaining the leading position after 36 holes with a total score of (-7).

Although not as explosive as in round 1, Tuan Anh still showed impressive stability. The 15-year-old golfer started with 10 consecutive pars, only making 1 bogey at hole 11, before scoring 2 birdies at holes 15 and 16 to finish the round with a result of 70 strokes.

With a total score of (-7) after two rounds, Tuan Anh is holding a 2-stroke advantage over Korean golfer Jaemin Park, who had a brilliant performance in round 2 with 66 strokes.

If he continues to maintain his form, Nguyen Tuan Anh can completely become the third Vietnamese golfer to win the Faldo Series Asia championship in a row, following the achievements of Nguyen Anh Minh in 2023 and Nguyen Duc Son in 2024.

In the following positions, Ho Anh Huy also played impressively with two consecutive rounds of 69 strokes, achieving a total score of (-4), temporarily ranked T3 on the overall ranking and ranked 2nd in the U16 men's group.

Meanwhile, Doan Uy and Nguyen Duc Son, two impressive players in the opening round with 68 strokes each, encountered some difficulties on the second day of competition. Doan Uy ended the round with 73 strokes, temporarily ranked T6 on the overall ranking and held the 2nd position in the U21 men's group.

Nguyen Duc Son finished the round with 76 strokes, ranked T12 overall and ranked 4th in the U21 men's group. Although they could not maintain the form of the first round, both still have a chance to break through on the final day of competition.

The remaining representatives of Vietnam have the following results: Nguyen Trong Hoang (+4), Tran The Bao (+6), Nguyen Bao Chau (+8), Nguyen Quoc Bao Huy (+11), Than Bao Nghi (+12), Hana Vuong (+15), Nguyen Khanh Linh (+16), Ha Nam Khanh (+18) and Nguyen Xuan Vuong (+31).
