Two southern English sides go head-to-head at the Vitality Stadium this Saturday in the Premier League, as Bournemouth host Brighton & Hove Albion.
Bournemouth ended the international break with a bitter 3-2 defeat at Brentford, while visitors Brighton under Fabian Hurzeler extended Manchester City's misery a fortnight ago.
Latest Bournemouth vs Brighton team information
Bournemouth's squad is certainly not in the best of shape at the moment with Alex Scott (knee), Julian Araujo (hamstring) and Luis Sinisterra (thigh) all out, while Dango Ouattara (groin), Milos Kerkez (knee) and Antoine Semenyo (knee) all require further assessment.

Iraola will also have to make some changes in midfield with Ryan Christie suspended after picking up a fifth yellow card in the defeat to Brentford, so Philip Billing or Marcus Tavernier will replace him in the starting line-up.
Christie's replacement will be tasked with providing the ball for striker Evanilson, who has scored in his last three Premier League games and could become the first Bournemouth player since Callum Wilson in 2019 to score in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Brighton's injury list grew into double figures during the international break, with Jack Hinshelwood (knee) and Yasin Ayari (ankle) both picking up problems after the win over Man City, while Tariq Lamptey (calf), Carlos Baleba (knee) and Ferdi Kadioglu (toe) all ruled out of international duty.
Hurzeler confirmed on Thursday morning that Baleba and Hinshelwood were likely to play, while Lewis Dunk (calf) is "almost ready", but there is currently no timetable for James Milner's return from a thigh injury.
Yankuba Minteh (groin) is also fit enough to represent Gambia this month, but there is no update yet on Solly March (knee) and Adam Webster (thigh), with March still slowly recovering.

Latest Bournemouth vs Brighton football prediction
Bournemouth have continued the tradition of high-scoring games at the Gtech Community Stadium in the current Premier League season, as they faced Brentford, where a total of five goals were scored against the West Londoners.
Unfortunately for Andoni Iraola and his men, however, only two of those goals fell to them, as Bournemouth failed to defend the slender advantage afforded by Evanilson and Justin Kluivert before Yoane Wissa scored his second of the game, sealing the points.

The defeat to Brentford extended Bournemouth's poor run of form away from home, with them picking up just one point from a possible 12, a stark contrast to three successive home wins over Southampton, Arsenal and Manchester City.
Bournemouth - currently 12th in the Premier League - have never won four consecutive home games, but a 2-0 win over 10-man Arsenal in October was the only time Bournemouth have kept a clean sheet in all competitions this season.
Key to Bournemouth's success at home has been their relentless work without the ball, with only Crystal Palace pressing more than Bournemouth with 2,336 in the 2024-25 Premier League season, but don't expect Brighton to shy away from this aggressive style of play.
At the Amex Stadium a fortnight ago, Brighton were undeterred by Erling Haaland's 12th Premier League goal of the season, as the Seagulls exploited Manchester City's newly exposed weaknesses to hand the reigning champions a fourth successive defeat in all competitions.
Joao Pedro's late equaliser just five minutes before summer signing Matt O'Riley set the Amex alight helped Hurzeler beat a man 22 years his senior, Pep Guardiola, and end his side's three-game winless run.
With the surprise win over the champions, Brighton are sixth and only behind Arsenal on goal difference, despite having the worst defensive record in the top eight.
The Seagulls have never failed to score away from home this season, though, and with 10 points picked up in the Premier League since the start of October, they have the second-best record in the division, behind leaders Liverpool on 13.
Brighton were humiliated by Bournemouth at the Vitality in the Roberto De Zerbi era, losing 0-3 at the end of April, ending the Seagulls' run of three consecutive wins over the Cherries and their fourth defeat in five Premier League visits to Bournemouth.
