Many key officials in Bac Lieu retired early.

On March 25th, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decisions of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel matters and retirement decisions for officials under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.


At the conference, Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, announced the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel matters.

Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, presented and handed over the decision approving Mr. Bui Tan Bay, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Ms. To Viet Thu, Secretary of the Bac Lieu City Party Committee, to participate in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Accordingly, the Central Party Secretariat unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Bui Tan Bay, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Ms. To Viet Thu, Secretary of the Bac Lieu City Party Committee, to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department also announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on allowing 10 officials to retire early according to Government Decrees 178 and 67 (Phase 1).

Specifically, the list includes: Mr. Vuong Phuong Nam, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Van Khanh, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union; Le Thanh Giang, former Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Huynh Quoc Ca, former Director of the Department of Construction; Luu Van Liem, former Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Tran Thi Lan Phuong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Lu Thanh Tung, former Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Pham Thanh Hien, former Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Tran Doan Cam, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; and Nguyen Van Duong, former Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.

The leaders of Bac Lieu province presented retirement decisions and flowers to congratulate officials who retired early.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, congratulated Mr. Bui Tan Bay and Ms. To Viet Thu on their recent approval as members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee. He also expressed his hope that the two officials would continue to strive and work together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to successfully fulfill the targets and tasks set forth in the 16th Provincial Party Congress Resolution.

The Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and praised the contributions of retired officials over the past period and expressed hope that these officials would continue to monitor, pay attention to, and offer suggestions to Party and government organizations in building and developing their homeland in the future.
