Many safe and useful playgrounds for Ha Tinh students in the summer

(Baohatinh.vn) - Summer vacation has begun, leading to an increase in the demand for entertainment, recreation, and learning among students. Many diverse, creative, and attractive playgrounds have been deployed in Ha Tinh.

In the first days of summer vacation, the gifted classes of Ha Tinh Youth Activity Center were crowded with students of different ages.

While dance, painting, and MC classes are mostly for preschool and elementary school children, vocal, guitar, organ, piano, and martial arts classes attract many high school students.

Along with the gifted classes, this summer, Ha Tinh Youth Activity Center also organizes a summer camp program with the theme "Learning to be a useful person". The summer camp will be held at Edufarm Tuong Son eco-tourism area (Tuong Son commune - Ha Tinh city); divided into 3 courses (starting from June 9 - July 4, 2025), each course lasts for 12 days.

Participating in the summer camp, students will experience useful activities such as: having fun with subjects (Early Childhood Math, Vietnamese, STEAM, science and technology...); life skills, survival skills (swimming, self-defense, escape...); physical development activities (mountain climbing, rowing, fishing); learning techniques for planting trees, cooking, making pottery...

Currently, about 300 students have registered to attend courses at the Ha Tinh Youth Activity Center.

Mr. Tran Manh Hien - Director of Ha Tinh Youth Activity Center said: “Up to now, there have been about 300 students registered to participate in the center’s talent courses and summer camps. In the courses, we will also integrate education and legal propaganda for children; coordinate the organization of performing activities, cultural and artistic exchanges; teach free talent subjects to children in difficult circumstances…”.

Reading culture development activities are also of interest to many parents and students during the summer and Ha Tinh Provincial Library is a place attracting thousands of readers to study, read books and search for documents.

With a spacious and airy space, Ha Tinh Provincial Library becomes the choice of many parents and students during the summer.

Nguyen Hoai An (grade 5 - Bac Ha Primary School, Ha Tinh City) shared: "I often go to the reading room with my friends on weekday mornings. The space here is spacious, has cool air conditioning and many suitable books, so I really like it."

To serve the needs of readers during the summer, the specialized departments of Ha Tinh Provincial Library are developing an activity plan suitable for students' ages; rearranging books, newspapers, and documents neatly and scientifically for readers to conveniently look up, borrow, and read...

The provincial library is equipped with about 30,000 books to serve the needs of readers.

Ms. Bui Thi Hong Nhung - an officer of the Professional Department (Ha Tinh Provincial Library) said: "Currently, the reading rooms are equipped with more than 30,000 books in different fields, meeting the needs of readers. We are also developing a number of activities with the theme "Happy summer reading"; watching movies, discussing good books... to create excitement and encourage children to maintain the habit of going to the library during the summer".

In residential communities, summer playgrounds for children are also being developed. Ms. Nguyen Ny Huong - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said: "The Provincial Youth Union has issued plans, directed and guided youth union chapters at all levels to preside over and coordinate with local authorities and organizations to implement summer activities in residential areas. In particular, focusing on swimming teaching programs, preventing drowning accidents and injuries in children; life skills education; organizing youth union and team activities... to contribute to bringing children a safe and rewarding summer."

In recent years, with the investment of all levels, sectors and people, Ha Tinh has built 105 community cultural houses. Many of these houses combine the model of “Intellectual House” with attractive activities such as: library, folk game area; English club, life skills… These works have become common cultural living spaces for the community and will promote their use value for children this summer.

With a variety of playgrounds organized, children will experience attractive forms of entertainment and have a rewarding and safe summer.
