From catwalk to music stage

Starting out as professional stage actors, the four members of the "White Heart" group were all students of People's Artist Hong Van - the person who inspired them with a love for the stage and artistic life - and were also students of artist Huu Nghia and director Bao Nguyen...

They have appeared in elaborate plays such as "Empress Duong Van Nga", "Macbet",... and after graduating, continued to be active in the Lac Long Quan Theater Club, with hundreds of performances in the program "School Theater".

That journey has trained them on stage skills, the ability to play a role and express emotions - a valuable foundation when entering the music industry. "White Heart" is not just a singing group, but also artists who tell stories with both their voices and hearts, having experienced the spotlight.

Dynamic, devoted to art

Besides their ability to perform on stage and in music, the two members Yen Phuong and Thu Thao are also students of singer Trieu Loc - Champion of the 2008 Television Singing Contest (grandson of the late Meritorious Artist Tan Dat - PV), who has imparted to them valuable experience in the art of performing songs.

Both of them also participated in the "A Country Full of Joy" songwriting campaign organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper, with the composition "Green City". This is a song to pay tribute to sanitation workers, the people who silently contribute to preserving the beauty of the city with their simple and noble labor.

Choosing to perform the song "Be a warrior" at this year's festival, the group "White Heart" promises to not only bring a vibrant performance, but also send a strong message of life: everyone can be a warrior on their own journey, whether on stage, on the street, or in everyday life.

Singer Yen Phuong stands out as a young artist with a lot of courage, talent and passion. Yen Phuong has made her mark through a series of impressive roles in the program "School Stage" - which brings traditional theater closer to students and the community.

She played the role of Tu Du in the play "Tu Duc offers the whip" - the image of a wise and courageous royal woman who dared to speak up for morality in the royal court. With the role of Co Mau in "Thai Hau Duong Van Nga", Yen Phuong showed the calmness and experience of an elder who understood the world, highlighting the depth of history and inner struggles in the transitional context.

In particular, the character Hen in "The Story of Hen's House" shows her ability to transform with a graceful, humorous performance that brings laughter but is still imbued with folklore and humanity.

With the role of Trung Nhi in "Me Linh - Niem Kieu Hong", she portrayed the image of a strong, loyal female general, standing side by side with her sister to write a heroic history. From historical roles to folk plays, Yen Phuong always plays her roles with depth, combining well-trained acting techniques with genuine inner emotions - something rare in a young artist.

Not stopping at the stage, Yen Phuong also shows herself as a composer. She is the co-author of the song "Green City" with Thu Thao, creating a song about sanitation workers, like "silent warriors" who preserve the beauty of the city with their own sweat and dedication.

Yen Phuong continues to bring the breath of the stage into music, creating a unique identity for the group. She not only performs but also composes, arranges and accompanies colleagues such as Thu Thao, Yen Nhi and Vuong Quynh Anh on an artistic journey associated with the community.

In particular, Thu Thao and Yen Phuong have performed with singer Quang Dai the song "Joining Hands" by musician Trinh Cong Son in many "School Stage" programs, loved by teachers and students.
