
Currently, the whole province has nearly 302 thousand union members and workers, of which female workers account for more than 62% of the total number of workers in units and enterprises with trade unions. In order for the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" to be effective, trade unions at all levels have specified the content, standards and organized implementation in conjunction with the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families". In addition, promote propaganda work on emulation movements, labor laws, reproductive health, gender equality... to contribute to raising awareness, life skills, professional skills and sense of responsibility in work of women. From 2020 to now, the whole province has 272,450 female workers being propagated through forms such as: Distributing documents, leaflets, women's handbooks; organizing training conferences; talk on the topic... Thereby, bringing the emulation movement not only to motivate and encourage the spirit but also to create a foundation for women to achieve the goal of gender equality, affirming their role and position in modern society.
At Phuc Mau Company Limited (Bac Dong Hung commune) specializing in processing shoes for export, creating jobs for nearly 3,000 workers, of which female workers account for more than 70%. The emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" is specified by the enterprise union for each department and production stage. Mr. Nguyen Van Lang, Director of the Company, said: In order for the movement to create attraction, the enterprise and enterprise union pay attention to ensuring policies for female workers such as: Salary, bonus; working time for women with young children; maternity regime; safe working environment; organizing gift giving on Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, International Women's Day March 8; praising and rewarding female workers with outstanding achievements, many technical innovation initiatives, helping female workers feel secure at work. Thanks to the attention, encouragement and motivation from businesses and trade unions, many female workers not only fulfill their roles as mothers, wives and children in the family but also complete their professional tasks well, have practical initiatives, and contribute to improving production efficiency. Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, a worker at Phuc Mau Company Limited, shared: The emulation movement not only helps me have more motivation to work but is also an opportunity to assert myself. My initiative to reduce the time and steps of sewing shoe edges after being applied to production has brought the Company a profit of 150 million VND. I am very happy to be recognized and rewarded.

Over the years of implementing and carrying out the emulation movement, the creativity, efforts to rise up and the unceasing dedication of each female worker have been affirmed. Every year, more than 90% of female workers in the province register to participate in the movement and more than 85% of female workers achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework" at all levels. Many women have been recognized and rewarded by all levels, sectors and trade unions, typically Ms. Dinh Thi Giang, Deputy Director of Human Resources Administration, Stavian Chemical Joint Stock Company (Pho Noi A Industrial Park), has just been awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for her outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home work" for the period 2020 - 2025. She not only takes care of housework but is also good at human resource management, always strives, constantly applies information technology, improves work processes, participates in building policies to ensure that businesses have enough quality human resources to meet job requirements, manages recruitment, training and human resource development, advises on implementing many human resource policies to attract and "retain" talent, making an important contribution to the development of the business. In addition to the compulsory social insurance policy, she and the specialized departments proposed and developed health care insurance packages for staff, employees, relatives and accident insurance to share risks for production workers and relatives. Sharing the secret to balancing work and family, she confided: I organize my family life scientifically , build a harmonious and happy family; I actively exercise, have a healthy lifestyle, participate in social activities, and charity activities when possible to both fulfill my role as a woman in the family and complete my professional work well.
The emulation movement is not only a recognition and spiritual encouragement but also a testament to the progress and maturity of women in modern society. The examples of women who are “good at public affairs and good at housework” have contributed to affirming the good values of Vietnamese women in the new era: Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility - worthy of being the core force, “solid rear” and also the driving force for the country’s socio -economic development.
