Efforts to complete the Tam Hoa Main Road project on schedule

DNO - The Tam Hoa main road project connecting National Highway 1 to Vo Chi Cong Street and DT.613B is a key project in the South of Da Nang City. However, this project is facing obstacles in terms of construction site and has to postpone the completion date to the end of 2025.

The Tam Hoa Main Road Project connecting National Highway 1 to Vo Chi Cong Street and DT.613B has a length of 4.8km. The starting point of the project is from the intersection of National Highway 1 at Km1006+198 and ends at the intersection with DT.613B at Km35+750 (Thanh Nien Coastal Road). The total investment capital is 646 billion VND from the central budget and local budget.

The project started on April 26, 2023 and was expected to be completed on April 25, 2025, but due to site clearance problems, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province (old) agreed to extend the deadline to December 31, 2025.

To date, the project has handed over 3.3/4.8km of construction site. Including the site of M1 pier, T1 to T7 pier of Truong Giang bridge; T2 to T6 pier, M2 pier of Cho river bridge; 0.6km of the route paid in advance for construction of public roads and 2.2km of the route through the forest land area handed over in March 2025.

There are still 271 plots of land that have not completed the procedures for establishing and approving compensation, support and resettlement plans to hand over the construction site. This has caused the construction progress to be slow and not as expected. To overcome the difficulties, on the afternoon of August 13, the Quang Nam Provincial Project Management Board for Construction Investment held a meeting with the People's Committee of Tam Anh Commune, Branch 11 of the Da Nang City Land Fund Development Center to soon clear the entire route for project construction.
