Lenin Stream is hidden in a peaceful countryside, more than 50 km north of Cao Bang city center. From Cao Bang city, follow Provincial Road 203 to reach the stream. Along with Pac Bo cave, Cac Mac mountain, Khuoi Nam hut, this stream belongs to Pac Bo historical relic site in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province. These places are associated with an important historical milestone of the Vietnamese revolution, when President Ho Chi Minh took his first steps back to the Fatherland after 30 years of wandering to find a way to save the country. He operated secretly in Cao Bang from 1941 to 1945. In the past, Lenin Stream was called Khuoi Giang by local people. This name in Tay and Nung languages means heavenly stream (khuoi is stream, giang is sky). In January 1941, when President Ho Chi Minh returned to his homeland to carry out revolutionary activities during the pre-uprising period, he named this stream Lenin, and the mountain next to the stream Karl Marx. The two names clearly show the ideology and revolutionary path of the national leader. The water of Lenin stream is so clear and emerald green that you can clearly see schools of fish swimming around.
