Lam Dong farmer discovers artillery shell while gardening

On August 14, the leader of the People's Committee of Quang Tin commune (Lam Dong) said that the locality had coordinated with functional forces to successfully remove an artillery shell from a resident's garden.

Artillery shells were found in people's gardens.

Previously, on August 9, Mr. Ngo Van Thuy (residing in Chau Thanh village, Quang Tin commune) discovered an artillery shell in his family's garden.

Immediately after that, Mr. Thuy reported to the local authorities. The authorities have cordoned off the area where the artillery shell was discovered, awaiting processing.

On August 14, Quang Tin Commune Police handed over the artillery shell to the Defense Command of Region 3 - Bao Lam (Lam Dong Provincial Military Command) and the Commune Military Command for safe handling according to regulations.

Authorities recommend that when people discover explosives, weapons, etc., they should immediately report to the authorities and absolutely not move or impact them on their own.
