Performance by People's Artist Bui Cong Duy:
On the occasion of the official visit to Kazakhstan by General Secretary To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly, a Vietnam-Kazakhstan concert took place at 7:00 p.m. on May 6 (local time) at the Astana Opera House.

Not only taking on the role of art director, People's Artist Bui Cong Duy - Honorary Professor of the Kazakhstan National University of Arts also showed off his classy violin playing through the Violin Concerto by composer Felix Mendelssohn. People's Artist Bui Cong Duy's performance received a long round of applause at the end.

The special highlight of the program is that up to 200 artists from the two countries will perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 on the stage of the Astana Opera House.

The performance featured the leading voices of the two countries such as: Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc (soprano), Meritorious Artist Oksana Davydenko (mezzo-soprano), Ninh Duc Hoang Long (tenor), Meritorious Artist Talgat Musabaev (baritone) and the Astana National Opera and Ballet Theater Choir.

If Bui Cong Duy is the cultural ambassador of Vietnam, your side also invited the world star from Kazakhstan - Dimash to perform as a gift from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to General Secretary To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly.

People's Artist Dimash Qudaibergen, born in 1994, is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kazakhstan. Dimash has a very wide vocal range and can sing in 13 different languages. In the program to welcome General Secretary To Lam and his wife, he performed two final pieces, Nguoi La and Adai, showing off the top voice of an international superstar.

Vietnamese artists also impressed the host country with an excellent performance of the monochord by Meritorious Artist Bui Le Chi with Dialogue by Do Hong Quan and My Homeland Vietnam by musician Do Nhuan combined with the singing of People's Artist Quoc Hung.
